Everything was clean and tidy - don't know how old the hotel was but everything felt new. The staff was fantastic. I typically eat a tiny breakfast, but couldn't resist overeating at the more than ample breakfast - And the staff offered to make me waffles on top of what was already offered (boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, all types of pastries, etc) Check in only took a couple of minutes, checkout took 20 seconds at most. Couldn't have asked for anything more - was a quick business trip so I didn't get a chance to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice enough. I'd stay there again for sure.

This place is fantastic. From the time you register, to the time you checkout, the experience is incredible. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice. My wife and I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. When we got to our room, we found an extra area with a desk, business chair, a side arm chair, and a love seat to relax and enjoy. You had 4 pillows to choose from, 2 of which were soft and 2 of which were firm. There was also an area for grilling. A grill, table and chairs are provided. Though we didn't use the pool, it was clean and ready for use. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding. i would like to thank and compliment the staff. jessica welcomed us with open arms. Teresa cooks a fine breakfast and was diligent in making sure the trays were stocked. If there is one thing that I could not understand however, it was the lack of toast. Bring your own bread as I was told that this chain does not carry bread to make toast. They carry croissants, donuts, and English muffins, but no bread. Dallas checked us out with a friendly thank you. Not often do we have to go through Safford, but if any reader happens to go through Safford, this would be an excellent place to stay. There are times when you want to get off the interstate and enjoy a US Highway, the way it used to be.

"Safford is a mining town"....the vast majority of innkeeper business is contractor and mine visiting people. What that means is our vehicles are large, they have to have backup alarms, and they need to warm up before we hit the road to eliminate damage to the engines. To downgrade a hotel because of these facts is always disappointing to me so allow me to comment on the establishment. Today's breakfast had cereal, fruit, waffles, eggs, bacon, breads, and assorted beverages. I'm not sure what else could be added so I give it a 5. I walked into a room with clean comfy beds, a desk, speedy WiFi, and a huge balcony- luck of the draw? Again a 5 in my book. The hallway on the 3rd floor could use an airing out and the soda machine is out of diet soda. The tub is a little grody but that is the necessary non-slip grip stuff, not a lack of cleaning. This is my new favorite choice when I am here, thanks for a comfortable stay. T

I’m writing to express my gratitude for a recent stay at the Safford Comfort Inn & Suites, Sept. 21-23. I was part of a kayaking group that got stranded for two days when the river cut off the roadway to our vehicles. We stumbled into your hotel Sunday night with nothing but the clothes on our backs and a tremendous amount of kayaking gear, inflatable boats and even a full-sized, hard-shell kayak. ... was working the desk that night and she treated us like family. We told her the predicament we were in and she was very accommodating, even storing the kayak in the back room! We had no toiletries and no clean clothes. She gave us everything we needed, including laundry detergent, was super helpful, and went way above and beyond. She’s a rock star.

We were definitely high-maintenance guests, but she made us feel at home, and kept following up to see how we were doing and if we needed anything else. She was amazing, and saying goodbye to her when we were finally able to leave was like saying goodbye to a friend. That’s the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back to Comfort Inn, and we’ve already spoken very highly of the Safford location to family and friends who learned of our predicament.

And as for the hotel itself, it was great to have comfortable lobby sofas and computers at our disposal during such a stressful time, when we didn’t know when the BLM would be able to dig us out or if the river had swept our vehicles away. It’s a well-managed property, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. (You’ve also got a great BLM office in Safford—very responsive.)

So on behalf of my group of four, THANK YOU for hiring fantastic people like .... who create a great experience for guests.

Best regards,

I live and work in Las Vegas and this is one of the nicest, cleanest places I've stayed. Great Place.
